We're headed to BCV for the 1st time the last week of Oct -- It seems like that's years away. When are you going? and what do you think the best thing about BCV will be? Looking forward to lots of trip reports once BCV is open in July.
Hey , we will be there Sept 15 - 20 . We also cant wait for some reports. We are OKW owners, but decided to try out the new kid on the block. We expect it to be fun. We love Stormalong Bay. .. dave
We rented points and will be at BCV the first week in Oct!! I can hardly stand the wait until the first reports come trickling in in July when it opens. There's a batch of really good photos out there of the rooms that I look at daily (almost), but would kill for a few photos of the landscaping, quiet pools, balcony views, etc.
I really hope SAB is not too crowded to enjoy. I'm purposely going to purchase 4 day ph's rather than 5 day so we'll be forced to spend one day relaxing at the pool. My luck a record-breaking hurricane will occur that one pool day
Also, I have one really odd question. Do the villas have a pizza cutter? It seems they have everything else needed to cook with, but we'll probably buy a few frozen gourmet pizzas for one of the quick meals we intend to fix.
We are new BCV members who had every intention of banking our first year's points and taking a nice lonng vacation in the summer of 2003. It wasn't long after the paperwork was signed that I started to plan how we could get there this year. We now have reservations for a two bedroom villa for 4 nights between Christmas and New Years. We have never been to Disney World at that time of year and are very excited.
Question for those that have been there during this period: Is it unreasonable to expect that we may have a day or two that we could swim at the end of December?
We will be going the 3rd week! My sister is getting married at Disney and we will be staying at BCV with my parents. We are new owners- just signed all our paperwork. I cant wait for Oct. We have a June trip planned so the wait wont be so bad for us.
the weather in December can vary greatly - it can be as low as the high 30's or as high as the middle 80's in 1 week - so be prepared bring your summer and winter clothes - but yes there is a chance you can go swimming in late December - I have been going the first two weeks of December since 1992 and except for one year (2000?) - I have been able to go swimming every year.
forget the important stuff - will be there in September - can't wait to try the new BCV!
We are going the 18th-22nd of OCtober for a Karate Tournament and daughter's 10th birthday! We are really excited. We are going with my cousin and his family and staying in a 2 bedroom!
