BCV in Oct!! We got it!

For those of you wondering how the 7 month booking for F&W is going at BWV and BCV - I just booked 4 nights in a 1 bed. at BCV no prob!! YAY! I'm so excited!!

Congrats.....we have a BWV studio booked from 10/15-10/21...thought about BLT at the 7 month mark but decided since we love being near Epcot for F & W to stay were we were...wonder if others switching over to BLT is opening up availably near Epcot or its the economy

Fantastic, we were also able to book BWV at the 7 month mark for our Oct. trip. I was able to book a standard view studio, it was not available right at our 7 month mark and I had to waitlist, but it came through with in a week. We also thought about BLT but wanted to be close to Epcot. Also BLT doesn't do much for my DH. I wanted to just try it for kicks, but the BWV waitlist came through 1st. Have a great trip!!

Yup that is what I was hoping for!! And we are bringing the grandparents to watch the baby so we can enjoy a solo evening at F&W!! Can't wait!

It's definitely not impossible to get something at BCV or BWV - we've inquired twice during F&W and were successful both times. We were able to book a 1BR at BWV last Sept/Oct (F&W had just started) a few days under the 6 month mark. In 2005 we also stayed at BWV and got it well after the 7 month window opened.

I'm hoping your luck rubs off on me.
I will be calling tomorrow at my 7mth window to try to change my 1bdrm SV at BWV to BCV.
I have 9 days at BWV booked, and am trying to switch just the first 5, Sun-Thurs. to BCV.
Anyone know if I can do that---I mean just change the first 5, and keep the rest..........I sure hope so.

Thanks, that way we can add DDP to only part of the trip if we decide to to that.
I am calling in 1 hour---don't know why I always get so nervous before I call....maybe I have those horror stories in the back of my head--you know, the ones where you try to change your ressie, and you loose all of your bookings....sure hope that doesn't happen

I called right at 9am this morning, and wow I got it
I switched 1 bdrm SV at BWV Sun-Thurs. Oct.25-30 to BCV.
I made it clear, I couldn't risk loosing my ressie, as I was keeping 4 more days at BWV, and the CM said, no there are lots of 1 Bdrms available there for those dates----really? during F&W.
Maybe the economy really has factored into Disneys bookings.

Nothing to do now but plan my ADRs.

Congrats!! I was the same way on the phone with the CM - after she told me that "yes" they had that room she started looking at other stuff and mumbling - I got so stressed out I was liek "book it, just book it" She laughed and said they had quit a few rooms avail! I have heard so many horror stories about people loosing the room while the CM was looking into something else - I would have died!!!!
