Just Book a week stay at BCV, 1br, always a tough one to get into, it will be my DW and ours 30th BDay gift to each other....cant wait to go...usually stay at OKW or BWV...any tips on good place to eat there or at the Yatch club...just 193 days to go..... :cool2:

The Marketplace has great salads for lunch and you must try the gelato. We also enjoy Beaches & Cream, Hurricane Hanna's and Cape May Cafe all in the Beach Club. We have had breakfast at the Captain's Grille a few times and that is very good as well. While we have not tried Captain's Grille for lunch or dinner, I have read some great reviews of both meals. We also enjoy walking over to the Boardwalk for Spoodles, ESPN Club and Flying Fish (which would be an excellent place for your anniversary dinner if you enjoy seafood). Also, having all of the World Showcase restuarants in your "backyard" is makes all of those places very convenient as well. BCV is our home resort and we love its location!

Flying Fish is not an "all seafood" place. DH had some really yummy beef short ribs when we were there in January. I did the potato wrapped snapper(or was it flounder?), it was excellent.

Great place for a special dinner, I'll probably book an ADR for our Jan trip again.

I don't think Pocahantas said Flying Fish was "all seafood.":confused3 But it is their specialty, of course. I love the snapper there as well as the champagne flight. Hmm, I need to make sure I have a reservation there for our next trip.

Yachtsmen's Steakhouse is another nice choice. At the Dolphin, Fresh has a very good breakfast buffet and Blue Zoo is another restaurant with great seafood.

We also enjoy Spoodles and Captain's Grille and as mentioned the restaurants of WS are a short stroll away. Oh, and Beaches and Cream is good for a cheeseburger. The Fountain or something like that at the Swoplphin appears to have a great burger. Can't remember who posts pictures of it....a DVCer I think. But we have to get over there sometime.

We'll be at BCV in January, too. Have fun!

I was curious as to what your dates are in Jan......I'm going to try and book a 2br at bcv jan. 24-28 but I won't be able to book until we close in aug. I hope there is something left by then.

We are staying Jan 25-30, cant wait, but it seems to be almost full when i made Ressie,
Good Luck
