BCV, Here we come!

After redialing for 20 minutes, I got through to MS and added three nights at BCV to our Thanksgiving VWL stay. MS said I was the first one she talked to that had points at BCV! (9:30am).

I just thought I'd share my happiness with you all.

P.S. I did request a top floor room. I'm hoping for a view of Epcot.

Oh man, I forgot to request top floor when I booked mine. I guess I will call back on another day.

Just curious--why the top floor? What do you know that I don't?

I got my reservation at 9:05 for Sept 1-5 for a one bedroom!! MS told me that there only thirty some rooms. I completely forgot to request anything! Congrats to all who got reservations!

With the top floore I am hoping for an unobstructive view of something interesting. It may be the parking lot , or it may be Spaceship Earth !

I switched our August 25-29 from WLV to BCV. Started calling at 8:58 and got in right at 9am. The girl at MS said that there were only two rooms on the top floor with that Epcot view of Spaceeship Earth and that they probably shouldn't have put that picture on the web site. I then requested a pool view room, I'd like the room to look in towards the Boardwalk, I'm not so sure that the view from the other side will be anything but trees.

We are psyched to go to BCV!

I reserved a 2 bedroom in late August to rent to friends (and boy, that was hard to do - I'm going in June and have extra points this year) - when I requested an "Epcot view" the CM also put in a request for an upper floor. She said that the lower floors only have a view of the tree line.

Our friends originally had 2 rooms at the Yacht Club. I can't wait for them to see the villas - hope they love it as much as I do!

We got in after calling for quite a while. I made our reservations for Nov. 9-12 and got a 2 bedroom, non-smoking room. I requested an upper floor with an Epcot view (we'll see). It took me many tries to get in, but I'm really excited that we got our first stay at BCV.

Also got through right away, BCV studio for 10 nights 10/23/02 thru 11/1/02. Member Services told me that there were many epcot views, maybe not of spaceship earth but certainly epcot illuminations !!!!

But I forgot to ask for upper floor, I'm calling back.

My husband got thru right away! He started dialing at 8:45 and they answered at 8:53. We got a 2 br Sept 15-20, which is exactly what we wanted. We requested non-smoking and a view of Illuminations.
We also did not ask for top floor!

I asked for non-smoking, Illuminations view but was told that they could only specify Epcot view. The CM helping me said that it was his understanding that most of the Epcot views were of World Showcase (Illuminations in my mind). I sure hope so. I would enjoy seeing vegatation during the day and my DH would really like to watch Illuminations from our balcony (me,too). I requested upper floor and he noted top floor. Can't wait.

My wife and I both tried to get through for 90 minutes from our jobs before my wife finally didn't get the busy signal. We got our reservations for Nov.2nd-9th in a 1 bedroom. She asked for a view of Epcot but didn't ask for a high floor. Don't you think if you have a view of Epcot you would have to be on an upper floor?

Since DH is a lover of all things NEW....he was dialing MS at his desk today and ultimately changed our ressies this summer...now we're going
7/28-8/2...BCV (instead of OKW)
8/4-8/9....BCV (instead of VWL) and
8/11-8/16...BWV.
He actually called twice, once he got the first week he just had to change the second. Since I don't care where I stay I let him play with the ressies.

Wow! Nice long vacation! Just wondering..what are you doing on 8/3 and 8/10? Sleeping in the car?

I'd love to be there on my birthday, 7/1, but we're already booked at the OKW in June. Anyone know if they're doing any opening day activities?

Well, I called at 5 pm EST and got thru so fast I did not even have my dates out. I got a studio for Dec 4th to the 8th! Yeah!

Actually on the first weekend we're staying at the Royal Pacific at Universal Studios to get FOTL access and the second weekend we're visiting with relatives....can't wait!

I didn't feel like hitting re-dial every minute this morning, so I waited til this afternoon and got a non-smoking 2BR Oct. 26 thru Nov. 2. I did request an Epcot view... we'll see.
