BCV has 3 styles of 2BRs and you must specify waitlist

Here's something I apparently learned the hard way that I am passing on.
We have a dedicated 2br booked at VWL 10/7-10/14. At the 7 month mark I called and asked to change resorts to either BCV or BWV, nothing available so I wait listed. I was asked about BW Standard or Preferred/BW, but nothing about BCV. I chose preferred/BW simply because the points were the same and I figured no chance of getting a standard anyway.

There's been no magic on our request so today I thought you never know and I'd better change that to any 2BR at BWV. MS ( who was wonderful) asks do I want to list the other two styles at BCV as well? WHAT????

I had no idea that they did a literal translation of "dedicated" 2br to BCV when you requested a 2 bedroom. I never requested a dedicated at VWL, just reserving at 11 months they gave it to me, which is great, but didn't cause me to consider this.

So apparently there are 3 styles of 2BRs at BCV (not sure but assuming dedicated, lock off and ????) AND you must specify when wait listing if you have dedicated or lock off already reserved?

Anybody know what the third style might be? HC?

Suffice to say our wait list has been updated to ANY 2br at BCV or BWV, I am just hoping that the update doesn't put us to the back of the line again.

I think the three types of 2BRs at BCV are lockoff, dedicated with 2 queen beds and dedicated with one queen and a sofa bed. For reasons I can't remember, only some of the dedicated 2BRs at BCV have 2 queen beds.

not enough space in the rooms for the queen beds - or that is what we got told.

the MS I talked to - tried to convience me that only AKV that dedicated studios.

well after staying in a dedicated studio at BWV, BCV and VWL - I knew she was wrong.

so DVC has taken away the ability of owners to elect dedicated or lock off when it is a studio - except for AKV.

really wished they would put the dedicated back on the studios no matter where you stay.

OKW is the only one I know doesn't have any dedicated studios.

Yes- lockoff, and 2 styles of dedicated. One has the door to 2nd BR off entrance hall, and other off LR near balcony. I think the one with door off LR has a sofa-bed instead of 2 queens, could be for door opening into room or maybe the end of the bathroom/closet area is different where the door would enter in the one version.
