BCV full in late Oct?

I am hearing no rooms available for the third week of Oct (2 bdr Villa), has anyone heard similar?

Haven't heard that but wouldn't be shocked; that is Food & Wine festival time and Beach Club is the closest resort.

Not surprised. BCV and BWV are often full at the 7 month window during F & W. I remember a couple of years ago there was a poster on this board who owned at SSR and was furious that she waitlisted for BCV at 7 months for October and it never came through. She said when she bought, her guide told her she would have no problem booking other resorts at 7 months.......

However, the 7 month window hasn't opened up yet, and there are a few of us crazy people who own at BCV so we're booked there, but will change at 7 months. Sorry, it isn't a 2 BR I'm giving up though.

BCV is a popular resort and not the largest. It can be difficult to get reservations there at 7 months or less.

I have had severa failed waitlists at BCV when I didn't book at 11 months.

I will be cancelling my October studio there for last week in October since we are going to Egypt instead.

It is unlikey, but not impossible. I called last Tuesday (First day of our 7 month window). We are going the first week of October. I called at exactly 9:00 when MS opened and had the option of BCV or BLT (wanted 2 BR dedicated). I took a 2 BR lock-off at BLT. After talking it over with DH, we wanted to change to BCV. I called back about 1 hour later, but the BCV was gone!

So... we waitlisted... but we still got BLT at 7 month window!!!!!!!!!

We had to waitlist for a 2 bedroom at BCV Oct 3rd-8th. We get BWV 2 bedroom at the 7 month window.

Were those the only 2 resorts available? I'm calling this week for a studio at AKV the first week in October.

Just called this morning for bcv and bwv, and both were closed out for 10/7/10.

Not sure about 2 bedrooms but I have waitlisted BCV studio for the past 3 years for around the 3rd week in October and it came thru 2 out of the three years.

I tried waitlisting a 2 bdr at BCV one year in October and it never came thru.
