Okay, here goes... We get there at3:50pm, check in. Room's not ready. I'm not sure why, it's almost 4pm. No prob, we go to grocery and stock up. We return at around 5pm. I call the number on the card and they tell we're on the 5th floor. This would be fine, except the guy at checkin said we were going to be on the first floor. We lug our grocerys into the building, I run up to the room 5something. Keys don't work. I call to verify the room #. Yep, it's right. They are sending someone up. I'm getting hungry for sushi so I call again and ask if I can come to the front desk. I get new keys and get back to the room. It's a handicap room. It won't do. No ledge for my son to eat his cereal, weird shower, low bed and the room was quite worn. I'm really getting hungry for sushi now! I call down and ask for another room. They find us one on the second floor. I run down to the front desk AGAIN for some new keys (3rd set for those scoring at home). We lug our groceries down to our new room 273 and settle in! It was a great room. Nice and clean with a view (partial) of illuminations. We had an ADR at Chef de France at 7:30pm. Whoopee, that leaves time for a sushi appetizer.

We had way too much food this night and every night that followed. The DP was a good deal, but way too much food. We won't do it again. We enjoy snacking on stuff and the plan really doesn't allow you to to that (physically speaking).

We had great meals & lazy days. Then the "free dining" crowd showed up and really mucked things up. Long lines and lots of people.

Son & I did early entry at Blizzard Beach. He did Summit Plummet twice with no line. We wore out our welcome there by noon and headed back to meet up with DW.

My wife and son went parasailing on Sunday (her 1st time, his 2nd). My son and I then went Scuba diving in the Living Seas later in the day. Boy, that shark swims close!!

Great weather. It was hot and muggy. There was usually a breeze. The couple occassions when there wasn't, it was REALLY hot.

We watched "Wishes" from the beach at the Poly (thanks DIS) after dinner at Ohana. We scored a swinging bench...sweet!

All in all, it was a great time. We had some "free dining" friends come down. It was fun showing them "our" Dis! The biggest bummer was my son lost a 2gig memory card with 800 pics on it at Downtown Disney on our next to last day. He had filled it and put a new one in. He thought he had it in a safe place in his case...but...he was wrong. He handled it well. He said, "we'll just have to come back"! Yep.

Well, the dog needs to go out and I'm headed for bed. I thought some of you would enjoy our check in issues. We love the BC. We saw our first snake on the way to Epcot along the back sidewalk. Freaked my DW out. I can't wait to go down for 10 days again.
