Does anyone know if the upcoming BCV will offer a Studio Floorplan, and if so, if the points required(per night) will be comparable to the other DVC resorts? I'm trying to plan ahead for some points there.

Also, how do add-ons work? If you already own points at VWL (planning a purchase there in near future), do you have to start over with a minimum purchase at a different "home" resort, or could you get away with purchasing 50-100 points at the BCV?

Thanks.

If I understand correctly, BCV will have studios, 1br and 2br's. The floor plans will be very similiar to those at BWV and VWL. If you want to do ana ddon at BCV, the minimum purchase is 25pts if paying cash, 50 pts for Disney financing and 100 pts to use magical beginnings.

No details have been released yet about BCV and probably won't for a few more months, but rooms will apparently be similar to those at BWV and VWL. (But, with no GV's as at BWV).
Add-ons currently are minimum of 25 points and probably will remain the same once BCV opens.

No point charts are available yet- again...look for them in a few months at the earliest.

Better yet, just keep watching here as they will be posted (probably many times) on this site once they are released by DVC.

Stay Tuned!

I may be wrong but I thought they discontinued magical beginnings. Is it back on again?:) :bounce: :) :bounce:

MB is still $5 at VWL and $10 at HH and VB.

No word on whether it will still be available for BCV whenever that becomes available. My guess is that MB will be available for HH and VB until they are sold.

THANKS!!! for the replies! Sounds like by the time I get my points at VWL paid off, I can start fresh with about 50-100 at BCV!!:pinkbounc

Magical Beginnings will allow you to "sell" back some (or all) of your first year's points to DVC. HH and VB are at $10 each and VWL is at $5.

This amount will be deducted from the purchase price or applied to your down payment. The $10 amount seems to be fair, but the $5 may not be too worthwhile. You will still have to pay maintenance fees on the points (prorated for your purchase date.)

Your guide can provide information about how this may affect your purchase.

Enjoy!
