A while back I put together the floor plans for the Beach Club Villas, using the original plans. I have finally got around to pulling all the information together.

The plans show the locations of all the rooms, with room numbers, the room types (Studio, 1BR etc), if they are handicapped accessible and if they are smoking optional.

I always print out and carry a set with me when I go - to check my room assignment out.

Take a look at http://www.parkinfo2go.com/dvc-bcv/

Let me know if you find any errors. Enjoy.

Next will be VWL (my other home resort).

Wow, that's a very impressive layout of the rooms for BCV. Nice job!! ::yes::

And to lay it out and color code it like that....very nice! :)

these are great! can we print them out? if so, which is the best way?

Great work DisZip. Thanks!

We're booked in a dedicated 2-bedroom (w/ 2 queens in 2nd bedroom) for our September trip. I noticed that the x34 and x54 2-bedrooms have a strange shape. Looks like the access to the 2nd bedroom is in the living room instead of foyer. Anyone have info on what these are like? Do any/all of these have 2 queens in bedroom 2?

Thanks
Leslie

I created the images with PaintShopPro and printed them from there. Depending on your browser, you may be able to just print from the browser (it works fine with Firefox). Printing from Internet Explorer does not scale the image down to fit the page, so you may have to save the image to your local disk and then print from there.

Here is one way to do it, if you are using Windows XP and Internet Explorer:-

1) in IE, click on the floor you want to print.
2) When the image is displayed, right click on it and select "Save Picture As".
3) Place the image file in a suitable location on your hard disk.
4) Then in XP using Windows Explorer open up the location where you saved the file, and right click on the file.
5) In the context menu, select "Print". This should start the "Photo Printing Wizard", and in here you can select from various layouts.

I have personally found that printing in Portrait layout fits best.

Thanks.

I have not stayed in those particualar rooms, but have wondered what they might be like. The space in between the living and bedroom is either a mousekeeping or electrical/telephone closet, but the access door is in the hallway.

I don't have an accurate list of which rooms have 2 queens, but if anyone else does then let me know and I can add this to the floor plans also.

Not all of the dedicated 2 bedrooms have 2 queen beds in the 2nd bedroom, I believe there are only 25 of them and they are mostly on floors 3 and 4 I believe. I know there are none one the first floor.

Some of the rooms do have access to the 2nd bedroom from the living room, the door is to the left of the TV.

This is great does anyone have something like this for the Boardwalk?
I wanted to know if Prefered 2 BR can be near std studio.

Sorry, just BCV for now and VWL to follow (as time permits). If I have the time :rotfl:, I can look at BWV, but that won't be for quite some time.

If anyone has done the "grunt work" figuring out the layout (for any other DVC resorts) and it just needs putting down in a nice picture, then let me know and we can work together on it.

So what is the best view to get ( I am going to be in a studio)?

Thats really a matter of personal preference.

Many people used to request an Epcot view, but member services will no longer accept that request - due in part to the Sorin' building blocking part of the view - but more likely due to complaints that some of the designated Epcot view rooms couldn't see much of Epcot!

Others like the pool view, which overlooks the BCV quiet pool (not SAB).

We have had Woods and Pool views in the past - both are nice. The Woods view had a partial view of Epcot, but you could not see Illuminations.

The best view of Illuminations from a studio would be rooms 222,322,422.
225,325,425 and 525 would be OK too.

DisZip,

Thanks for the BCV maps! these are great--lots of info.
I'm looking forward to seeing the VWL map(s).

Margaret

I was going to make a post asking if anyone had this info. I didn't because I figured it would take too much time to put together and figured no one had done it before. THANK YOU. Very Cool!

I am having trouble downloading the 1st floor drawing. It only downloads half of it. Does anyone have ideas why or is the same thing happening to you?

Thanks so much!!! Those are GREAT!!!!

P.S. Everyone who is having trouble printing, save the pictures as a gif file on your hard drive, and print them from there.
