BCV Epcot Access Question

We are going home to BCVs for the first time in October. I was just wondering if anyone knew if you can enter Epcot through the back gate next to BCVs for the morning Extra Magic Hours, or do you have to go to the front gate?

Yes, you go right up to the gate drop at International Gateway and get right in there. We just got back from BCV's and LOVED every minute of it. Its been our home resort for five years now, and I never get tired of it. You will love this place!

Only Future World is open for EMH. World Showcase opens at 11:00. They will have CMs directing the Guests.

Absolutely! In fact, I find it less crowded there and at a 5 minute walk from your resort... Epcot = love!

RxForDisney, as this is your first time at BCV and sounds like your first time staying at the epcot resorts area, please be aware of park closing hours (9pm for worldshowcase, i believe) if you intend on using the monorail as your mode of transportation to get outside of the epcot/epcot resorts area.

getting on the monorail from epcot to get to other parks and destinations probably isn't a very common to do (taking the wdw buses is faster). but for the novelty of it, we enjoy the using the monorail to get to mk every now and then.

it becomes a problem however, when you stay out past epcot operating hours, take the monorail back to epcot, and then realize that you cannot get back into epcot to get back to the epcot resort area.

this is a mistake you only make once, and for us we were lucky to have a cast member let us slip through, but we did see a couple turned away by another cm, i believe they needed to take a bus back to ttc to catch a bus to the epcot resorts area.

...you don't necessarily need to go through the main lobby to begin your trek to Epcot.

There is a back pathway, behind the Villas, that leads to a gate. Follow that and it will take you much closer to the International Gateway.

It really IS just a five minute walk!

You'll walk through Britain and Canada, but they won't be open yet. The rest of the WS is roped off until 11 (unless you're going to Akershus for breakfast and then you will go through Britain and Canada and walk around the plaza to the Mexico end)

TTC doesn't have resort buses. You'd have to return to the Magic Kingdom. If you can't get back to the Magic Kingdom, you'd have to go to another resort, catch a bus to Downtown Disney and switch to your resort bus there.
