BCV Dues question?

I have our closing paperwork and was surprised when I was told that BCV dues for 2003 are $3.831/point for BCV. I was expecting $3.97 based on a previous post that listed the current dues for all resorts. Can other BCV owners confirm this for me? (Not that I'm complaining about LOWER costs!)

I don't have any idea where the 3.81 is coming from. I'm paying 3.9728! (2.7376 operating budget, .4676 capital reserves, and .7676 estimated property taxes).

That price sounds like what SSR was quoted. Could be BCV with a rebate for the over estimated taxes.

Don't run out any buy a new car with the savings, you might get a bill form DVC if they made a mistake.

The closing agent (we're going through Jaki) said the total 2003 dues bill from DVC was $766.26 for 200 points. The sellers used 31 points, and we get 169 for 2003, so we are prorated for 169 points for a cost of $647.49, based on $3.831 per point calculated from the $766.26. Wouldn't it be the same for ALL BCV owners for 2003? I'm confused......

If you are buying a resale, and the original buyers bought in 2003, themaintenance fee would be prorated from their purchase date. Maybe they bought about January 15th or so. That would prorate to about 3.81.
