BCV bus service?

Anyone surprised about the BCV bus service to the parks. We had a bit of a surprise our recent stay there. We had dinner reservations at MGM studios one evening and walked over to the bus stop, in the pouring rain to catch a bus. After looking around...surprise...no stop for MGM! The front desk never informed us that we would have to take a boat over..we had never stayed at a resort in WDW that didn't offer bus service to all four parks. So we had to walk over to the dock {again in the pouring rain} and guess what ??the boat was leaving. We waited awhile{hoping not to miss our son's birthday dinner reservation} and took the next boat over. We made the reservation by 2 minutes! I loved our stay there but wish they would have told us on check-in.

Polynesian, CR and GF don't have bus service to MK or Epcot unless the monorail is down for an extended period.

You probably should have read the Tide Tribune that they give you when you check in. On the front page it says that transportation to Epcot and Disney Studios is by watercraft.

From BWV to Epcot or MGM is also only by boat.

Until recently, MK from VWL was only by boat. They now also have bus service.

Also, you can walk to Epcot or MGM from either BWV or BCV. (Although you wouldn't want to in the rain.. )

None of the Epcot resorts (BWV, BWI, S, D, BC, YC, BCV) have bus service to either Epcot or MGM - options for all of those resorts include walking or Friendship Boats.

Bus service is available to MK and AK for the Epcot resorts however.
