Hi Everyone

I am going to the BCV in May 2009, in a 2 bedroom dedicated unit.

Which floor, view do you suggest that I ask for a preference on?
Are there any suggested locations I could try to ask for?

Thanks,

:cool2:

We always ask for a top floor room away from the elevators. That way there isn't anybody overhead and not a lot of traffic in the hallway outside our door.

You need to consider what's important to you. Want something near the bus stop? Something quiet? Near the non-themed pool? Close to SAB? Close to the Shops? Close to self-parking?

A lot of it is person preference, but I like EPCOT (fireworks) view upper floor.

I perfer upper floors with quiet pool veiw, I stayed on every floor except first (which I have no desire to try )and in every room type and have had every view type and have never experienced a severe noise problem in any of them.
Other things to consider are being close to elevators or not, closer to main resort which makes walk to the marketplace and SAB a little shorter and bus stop. If you will have a car being closer to self parking is nice. Remember it's a small resort so when I say closer I mean a couple of minutes, not a big deal when you consider the walking you'll be doing at the parks.

I'll be there in May also, I hope you enjoy your stay, I've enjoyed every one of mine, and have no regrets about buying there.

Someone has a great map with the Dedicated rooms with the 2 beds in the 2nd bedroom marked vs. the others. We stayed on the 2nd floor overlooking the quiet pool and loved the location. It was a quick walk to our car, quick to the quiet pool, not too far to the bus stop using the door at the end of the building. And we had a wonderful balcony that spanned several rooms. Sorry, I don't remember the room number, but I thought it was a great location. It was a first stay there, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but we liked it a lot!

We are headed next month to BCV in a 1 BR. I was also looking for the map resort of room diagram/views that was posted here a while ago. Does anyone have the link? Thanks

You would've liked our room, then. We were in a dedicated 2BR, room 378, which was at the VERY end of the long hallway, farthest from the main elevators. The view wasn't all that great (but, then, the balcony was really small so other than to take pics I didn't go on it) as it was of trees obscuring the BC when looking straight, of the parking lot when looking right, and of the quiet pool when looking left (that part was okay). It was a long walk to either Epcot, or the BC, though we did use the stairs at the end of the hallway when going down. That put us out on the sidewalk along the parking lot.

We just returned and we were in a 1 bd 4th floor Room 420. It was close to the elevators (which we liked..wasn't loud or anything.) and it was a great view of Epcot fireworks. The living area had a small balcony but there was a huge one off the master.

We careful of asking for an epcot view though because there are rooms that are closer to the road. We had a dedicated 2bd last year and there was a truck backing up every morning at 6AM...beep beep beep...Oh my was that annoying

Don't bother asking for a view--none are great, only one is bad (parking lot). Ask for a bigger balcony. I think the room numbers are 233 and 433. It has an extra long balcony with a private woods view room. It's wonderful with a large group.

I might be mistaken about the room number. Lisarenf (sp) would know. Lisa, are you lurking :) ?
