Is there a store near the BCV that sells grocery items? Or will we need to go to the Boardwalk? We will be making a grocery stop on the way from the airport, but I feel sure we may run out of some things before our stay is over (milk comes to mind). This will be our first time to stay at BCV....have only stayed at BWV and VWL in the past. TIA

If I recall correctly, the store at the BC does have some grocery items.

Yes, the store at the BC expanded when the Villas were built to include more grocery items.

Thanks everyone. Nothing is mentioned about groceries in the Members Guidebook, so I wasn't sure....

Do they have gallons of milk at BCV? Also, how outrageous are the prices? We are going to make a grocery stop on the way there, but I'm afraid we may get there an hour or two before the room is ready and I don't want to buy any perishables before check in.

When you arrive, if your villa is not ready the Bell Services will store your cold and frozen items. Just bag the cold together and same with frozen. They will deliver them to your room when you get it.;)

Yes, don't be afraid to purchase perishables. They are so accommodating about storing them for you. Just make sure they are bagged together as mentioned. And yes, I believe the BCV store has milk, soda, butter, etc. You'll actually be surprised at the selection especially the store on the Boardwalk. They carry quite a variety of items. They are more expensive than the local grocery store but for the convenience of not having to make a trip out, it's usually worth it for a few items that you might need.

Thanks for the replies. I also was wondering something else. We're having a limo pick us up and the airport and stop at the grocery store before arriving. I'm not sure where they normally stop. Anyone know? How long does it take to get from the grocery store to BCV? We're using Tiffany Town Car if that makes a difference.

We always use Tiffany and have had them stop at 3 different stores. It depends on the driver and which one they prefer.

Our neighbors on our last stay took Tiffany. They stopped at the same Publix on Vineland road (near the Mary Queen of the Universe shrine and the outlet mall) that we shopped at regularly. This supermarket is maybe five minutes out of the way when heading from the airport. When the Central FLorida Parkway exit for International drive is reached, you take a quick right onto I drive and then the second left about two miles up the road. You can reverse course to get back to Disney.

I don't remember any gallons of milk at the BWV store, but a half gallon of whole, 1% or skim was $2.95.
