bcv...a couple of questions???

hey guys...
we own at wlv and had a trip planned for july 15th thru the 20th...i called member services a few weeks ago and asked if we could switch over to bcv...member services was able to accomidate our request....
now the questions....
1) when exactly does bcv open to accept guests...i believe that it is towards the end of june...
2) how crowded do you think bcv will be during the time we are there...
3) anyone else going to be staying there during the same time period????

I thought I read July 1st. I guess I'm a little suprised it was availible on such short notice,figured everybody would be trying to get in at the same time. We're booked for 1st week in Nov. Look forward to reading your trip report. Have fun.

Yes, July 1st is the opening. We are booked for 10/31 to 11/4 as well. Have a great trip.

We didn't have any problems getting the BCV for 10/27 - 11/1.

Anybody have any idea why it is so easy to get in there considering it is so new?

I would think everyone would want to stay there and see what the new home resort looks like...

July 1 is opening for BCV. We were the same, got a room on less than 4 weeks notice over 4th of July none the less. Maybe the reason it is available is most (at least I think most) people book in advance taking advantage of the 11 month window at their home resort and the 7 month window at other resorts. Since BCV just staring taking reservations within the last month or two most people going in the July-November time frame probably already had reservations. So unless the called and switched or waited to the last minute, BCV wouldn't have been an option for them when they first booked. Just my opinion.
