BCV 1 Bedroom

I keep seeing information on the web about 1-bedroom dedicated vs. 1-bedroom lockoffs... If have not seen this in any other 1-bedrooms that we have stayed at.

What is the difference?? Maybe I have stayed in one and didnt know the difference...

Does anyone have pictures??

Any great views I should request for BVC?? This is our first time staying at BCV..

Only 2-bedroom villas can be booked as either a lock-off or dedicated.

A lock-off 2-bedroom is a studio and 1-bedroom villa with an interior connecting door. The studio would be the second bedroom and will have a queen bed and sleeper sofa (except at OKW where it will have two queen beds)

A dedicated 2-bedroom has a true second bedroom that will (at most resorts) have two queen beds.

A dedicated one bedroom villa will not connect to a studio to make a lockoff two bedroom. A one bedroom villa with the connecting door to a studio will be part of a lockoff two bedroom villa.

Our DS's family had a dedicated 1 bedroom on the first floor of BCV in April. It was 2 units away from me, very convenient to the pool, the building entrance to the pool was right next to them.

As far as view, I like the pool, canal view when I'm at BCV, especially at night when the lights reflect off the canal. The real woods view is also nice. I like to sit on the balcony. Sometime I'm too close to road, and the noise, still, I love the BCV's so it's never bad.

BCV is a small resort. You could request a higher or lower floor. You could request a pool view or a garden view or a woods view. None of them are the best view because the BCV was built behind the BC on the former CM parking lot.
