BCV - 1 bedroom (dedicated versus lockoff)

There is so much to learn on this board, and so many great people. I'm reading through the discussions on the 2br BCV options, and it leads to this question. My interests will be in 1 BR. Are there any diffs between the 1BR dedicated and the 1 BR lockoff? And what exactly does lockoff mean?

there is no such thing as a one bedroom lockoff they are the same or dedicated. they consist of a master bedroom with a king size bed and a living room/dinning room/kitchen. A two bedroom has dedictaed and non dedicted would have a studio that has a door that can be locked and rented seperate making it a one bedroom and a studio. A dedictated will be the same but the studio can not be locked off and in BCV only some have two queen beds and others have the same as a studio which is a pullout coach and one queen size bed in both cases a studio size room is the second bedroom. Other ersorts are differnet example BWV has no dedicated two bedrooms OKW has 2 queen size beds in the second bedroom lock off or dedicated but a lock off would have a second balcony. SSR has dedictated and non dedictaed, all of the dedicated two bedroom would have two queen size beds in the second bedroom and the lock off would be a studio and one bedroom with what is listed in each.

If I remember correctly, the first time we stayed at BCV we had a one bedroom with a closet in the entryway. Our second visit there was a door where the closet had been. I much preferred the closet. That's where we stowed the luggage.

1 bedroom lockoff means there is a connecting door to a studio, when the door is open it is a 2 bedroom; when the door is locked ("locked off") it is a 1 bedroom. In a 1 bedroom dedicated, there is no door, so it can only be a 1 bedroom, it cannot be combined with a studio to form a 2 bedroom.

I believe the closet in the entry (or the connecting door) is the only difference between the look-off and dedicated.
