I like the socks. They remind me of big cartoon duck feet. Probably not the look they're going for, but it amuses me.

OP, I agree about the field. It seems like people are slipping way more often than in most games. The turf doesn't seem firm enough. I don't know if they did something wrong or if some fields are just that way, but I don't like it.
