@bcla - a question for you

I think it reminded me of this, from The Edison at Disney Springs.

“DB 'Clothesline Candied Bacon'
Maple, Black Pepper, Fruit Mostarda, Sweet and Spicy Pickle”

Yes, this was ours!

That's just sadness in a package. Isn't the smell of sizzling bacon 50% of the goodness of bacon?
Microwave for a few seconds per slice and you get the full smoky aroma. These are smoky, not sweet, not salty. Delicious.

Most of the stores here carry the fully cooked Oscar Meyer bacon.
Sure, so does Publix here. Oscar Meyer or Boar's Head is $9.99 for 8 slices. Costco is $19.99 for 48-50 slices which are thicker, leaner, and better tasting.

Heck I live in the home of Krispy Kreme and I only know of two locations within a 30 mile radious and I live in the Capital City. There are uncountable numbers of Dunkin's in that same area. But NC is weird that way. It is also the home of Pepsi and still thinks Coke is better.

48 slices!? I'd hate to think how long it would take the two of us to eat that much bacon!

Yeah, it's easily a month's supply for our family, but the price is certainly much better. And so is the bacon.
