BC/YC Booked....What about Boardwalk Inn?

We were going to stay at Beach/Yacht Club at end of April but they are booked, would we like the Boardwalk Inn? We have 3 children..2 girls 8 & 5 and a 1 yr old boy. Hope we can be convinced of Boardwalk Inn or we may end up at The Animal Kingdom Lodge. Thanks!!

Boardwalk and AKL are our favorites. YC next, never cared for BC.

We ahve never stayed at the BWI but BWV are our favorite...If you can get the rooms there ...I say go for it..

Oh yes, if you want to stay in the Epcot area then the Boardwalk is fantastic. I actually prefer it to the Yacht or Beach club because of the atmosphere (love being on the boardwalk itself), the theming and the decor of the rooms. I love the quiet pool, too and watching the Illuminations fireworks over the trees while being in the jacuzzi! So wonderful!

I think you will like it. At least my son and I really do.

I've stayed at YC and BWI and I would choose BWI hands down!!

love bwi over bc.....BC pool too crowded..and with the BW you have the choice of pool with slide plus quiet pools.

realizing that BC/YC does have the SAB pool, don't feel to disappointed...IMO, feel pool is so over-rated. not like a waterpark at all.

but will admit slide is good.

but BW has been voted best pool slide in all wdw

so try BWI, feel you will love it...
much quieter as well

Thank you!!! I have always felt SAB is overrated, too-- I much prefer the GF's waterfall pool (ahhh...looking out at the lagoon as if its going straight from the pool's edge...) or AKL's huge watering hole type pool next to the flamingoes. SAB is neat, especially for the kiddie pirate ship slide, but not a water park level pool...just a few neat attractions that don't outweigh the stuff at other deluxes...but I guess that's why we have so many wonderful places to choose from--so we all have our diff. favorites!
