Just got back from a week at WDW. First 5 nights were in a studio at BCV. WOW! Not much more I can say. We loved every part of BCV. The relaxed atmosphere, the calm colours of the decor, the leisurely walk to Epcot. Walking to the Boardwalk at night. And of course SAB.

We were in studio 461. This one has a huge extended balcony and we watched Illuminations from there 2 nights. Of course you can't see what's on the water but you get a great view of the fireworks. Our room was in fantastic condition. I am no the type to get on my hands and knees to examine for furniture chips but everything to me looked great. The Hallway and other common areas were in great shape too.

SAB report: In the mornings they were checking room cards and issuing wristbands. The pool was never even remotely crowded. We had no problem finding chairs in whichever location we wanted. A couple of afternoons we didn't come down to the pool until after 4 and at that point there was no one checking room keys and the pool at that point was maybe 1/4 used. Our 3 month old loved the pool. I can't wait to bring him back when he is a bit older.

We had one lunch take out from the Marketplace. A roast beef and brie sandwich which was very good. With the meal plan you also got a drink, choice of chips and fruit or a cookie.

I would be happy to answer any questions I can.

Glad to hear you enjoyed BCV. We simply love it there.

We've enjoy that sandwich as well although I do wish there were other options for sides and desserts as other resorts allow. At Mara and Gasparilla Grill, we could choose side salads, soup, fruit cups, bowl of grapes, pastries, zebra domes, carrot cake, strwberry bars etc..

Where did you go after BCV? We just split BCV/GF (it was supposed to be the Polynesian) and I find I really prefer doing it in the opposite order. REgualr resort first and then BCV.

We went to CBR for the last 2 nights (we're already in the borrowing column) and it was a bit of a letdown but we were hardly in the room those last 2 days.

I'm glad you had such a nice BCV vacation! We were in a studio with an extra large balcony once and we thought it was great too!
Bobbi :)

Thanks Bobbi. DVC has us spoiled now. CBR just didn't have the magic for us. And we've still only stayed in a studio.

Thanks for the report! I agree about the balcony-I've had that studio, too, and the balcony was HUGE! I guess I got spoiled, because last trip to BCV, my main complaint was how tiny my balcony was by comparison. And yes, I also love the roast beef and brie sandwich. I bought one to have for my plane ride home-boy, did that taste good while everyone around me was eating their airplane pretzels.

Congrats on a great trip.

Any chance you had an opportunity to check out the sofa bed in your room? If so would you please comment on the comfort. I have seen reviews of the new sofa beds at BWV and they look and are getting a great reaction from everyone. I was wondering if the same can be said about the sofa beds at BCV.
