This never occured to come when booking, had seen a couple of times that there was no way to get to Epcot front gate from BC but never worried about it as we can walk there. But then the light went on this morning when I was looking at park hours - if FW opens at 9am, or even earlier on EMH - how do you get there? Do they allow you to walk through WS? What about breakfast? If there is no real CS at BC and WS doesn't open until 11am where do you eat? Thanks to everyone as always for their help.

Yes, you can walk through World Showcase towards Futureworld before it is open.

We always enjoyed breakfast at Spoodles on the Boardwalk.

We had pretty good counter service in FW for breakfast. There might be a sitdown option at the restaurant in The Land. My favorite is the Boardwalk Bakery, and the Dolphin has a couple of good options. Don't worry. You never go hungry in Disney World!

Spoodles is good. Love the bakery.

BC counter service is the Marketplace - start serving at 7 am.

that say eat once at beaches and cream - nice hamburgers!

then also if you can eat at Cape May Cafe! love their breakfast!

Yes, you can walk to and enter Epcot through the International Gateway (IG) at Future World (FW) opening hours. If you have a breakfast ADR at Norway or a Segway Tour, they will have a list with your name on it and they will allow you in the IG early. Cast Members are situated at the top of the hill preventing you from turning right and heading towards France. They direct you to the left towards Future World. You will walk through a closed UK and Canada and it is really neat.
That said, if your goal is to be the first in line or to get a FP for Soarin' or Mission Space, you may be a few minutes behind those who are admitted through the Main Entrance. You can "jog" to the front entrance if you choose.
Or you could choose to take a cab from the Main Lobby of the Beach Club to the Front Entrance of Epcot and enter with the rest of the masses. It is not expensive and a very quick trip. I personally wouldn't bother, but it is a choice.

Thanks everyone for the great advice both on breakfast and walking through world showcase. We are of not die hard opening team, waiting for the rope to drop, just don't want to wait until 11am to started on the rides - that said we're there Christmas week so we may need to be up and at em super early to get on any rides.
