BC to Epcot in the morning?

Hi...I will be in Disney in 2 weeks. We are staying at the BC and are planning to hit the Epcot in the morning....I just remembered that the countries do not open until 11:00...i really wanted to get to Soaring and Test track quick....how would i do this...do they let you in a little early at the international gateway? Is there any quick way to get to the front of Epcot...would the boat be faster...i never took the boat..only walked...so how would i do this...thanks..amy

Hi Amy,

You can walk from the BC to the IG. They will open the gates and 9 and you can hightail it over to Future World.

There's not that much difference in distance between the front gate and the IG to Soarin' that would make a huge difference in your wait time at opening.

The other good thing, that will work in your favor, is that there are usually characters in the front at opening. So many of the main gate guests get waylaid by them.

thanks...I guess with no one in the countries...it won't be crowded..so hopefully I can move fast...the only problem is my DH...he walks so slow ...and I like to move..i guess that is why I am the one who gets the fast passes...thanks..amy

Amy - If that's the case, you walk quickly to Soarin' and get FastPasses, while your DH ambles more slowly. Do Living with the Land or see The Circle of Life, or go to the Living Sea or the Imagination ride while you are waiting for your FastPass time for Soarin'. That way DH won't be on your last nerve first thing in the morning!!!
