We're currently booked at Grand Floridian Outer Building Garden View 6-22 thru 6-29 for five (two are 18).
We can book Beach Club Club Level for the same price.
We've stayed at BC before, so I know the food offerings as far as the Market Place are limited.
We've never stayed club level before.
Which would you choose and why?

It would depend on where we were going to spend the most time for us. If we had the kids with us and were spending most of our time at MK I would go with GF. I would stay at BC if we were going to be at Epcot more. Also it would not worry about the CL part of it if we were not going to spend enough time at the resort to enjoy it. Our last trip when it was just adults it would have been nice since we had plenty of down time and most of our meals we at Epcot. The last time with the kids it would have been a waste of the CL since we really did not spend any time at the resort and would not be able to take advantage of the offerings.

Given your group is made up of mostly adult types, I'd go BC but I'd try for a regular room versus a club level. The only thing different you get with club level is sort of kind of breakfast, snacks in the afternoon and in the evening. You can certainly spend less on actually buying those items than the cost of CL per night. The rooms aren't any different than regular rooms. I would think you aren't going to be spending most of your time at MK with older kids so GF doesn't have a lot of advantage, other than it's a beautiful resort and worth staying at for that.

We've stayed at both (although non-CL at BC) and my choice would be the GF. We thought the BC was nice, but prefer the GF for a larger/more spacious room, being guaranteed a daybed (which you might not get at the BC), and having a larger variety of dining options (at least for my family) at the monorail resorts. We also love being close to MK. With that said, since you've already stayed at the BC, I'd try the GF for something for different (just my opinion). Good luck!

The Gf has much larger rooms and a guaranteed day bed, so sleeping 5 is easy. the BC has some rooms with only 2 queens. If you end up in one of these, you can get a daybed but it makes an already small room even more cramped. I would make a daybed my first request at the BC.

I do like the location of the BC for your age group. I assume that the 5th is also an adult? The CL is nice and would essentially provide breakfast for everyone which is both convenient and saves some $$$.

With the two the same price, I would probably opt for the BC, but it is a close call.

I would go with BC CL. CL will get you the food offerings described but also a lovely lounge to spread out in & visit. Way more comfortable than 5 in a room. The location within walking distance to two parks can not be beat. And it has the best pool on property.
It also has the most restaurants in any single area.

Exactly the reason I woudl choose BC over GF under these circumstances. With 5 in a room I think the more options you have to spread out a bit the better.

I stayed CL in December and that was wonderful in terms of breakfast in the morning, snacks in the afternoon, appetizers later on and desserts and cordials later on. I know that with our group CL Is worth it when we factor the cost of breakfast and the extras that we use. The lounge alone, when folks are getting ready to leave in teh morning or evening is a great use of space.

I like the GF, and you cannot beat the amenities, but CL trumps that for me.

This is a tough call! So many pros/cons of each, it's sort of a push in my mind.

I have more experience at the MK resort CLs, but tacked on a night at BC CL this past summer on one of my trips. I found the quality and variety of the food offerings at BC CL to be far superior than any other CL I have stayed, even the much touted GF CL. Great variety, quality, fresh ingredients. Loved it!

I do agree that a lot of the CL decision depends on your style - if you're commandos that are never around the resort, then CL probably doesn't make much sense and I'd go with the bigger room at the GF. But if you see yourself taking advantage of the CL lounge at BC (for food and/or extra space), then I'd probably go there.

Hard to make a wrong decision here!

I would TOTALLY do BC CL for the same price as GF Garden View. Particularly with 5 people, that's a big bang for your buck in terms of the food and beverages you will have access to in the lounge. I love both resorts, but, getting CL along with a room at a deluxe for the same price as just a room at another - yes, definitely.
