I'm planning a trip for May 06. We loved BC and POFQ. I have never been to CSR. Is it too spread out? We stayed at Riverside once and I thought it was too spread out. I thought CR was great also. Which would you choose and which building? We prefer bright colors and close to pool and food courts.

I noticed no one has responded yet, so at the very least I hope this post serves as a bump to get some more informed responses. I have never stayed at CSR, but I have walked around it a few times, and I have stayed at POR. I would say that if you thought POR was too large that you would think that CSR is large as well. I can't be much help in terms of location, but I did really like the look of the Cabanas and the Casitas while Ranchos kind of left me cold. Hope things work out well for you!

I'm staying at CSR for the 1st time in Dec. I was concerned about the size but I felt better when I read the CSR FAQ thread. They don't share a bus and have an internal shuttle system and lots of people said the size of it makes it seem less crowded. Look around the CSR FAQ thread for lots of info, including tips on building requests.

We stayed at CSR last March. It is our favourite resort. So beautiful!! The brightest colored buildings are the Casitas. It is quite spread out but they do have shuttle golf carts that drive around the resort and once we figured out how to catch the they saved us lots of walking. Building 4 is close to the quiet pool.

No bright colors at BC, but you're close to the the pools, lots of food, and all of the activities of the Boardwalk. We love it!

We love CSR because it is truely a beautiful resort, has a great main pool are (the best of the mods) and terrific transportation along with 2 great places to eat. You can't compare a deluxe to a mod but if you are looking for a nice place to stay at, CSR will meet your needs.

CSR does not share transportation with other resorts and though it is a large resort, it only has 4 bus stops. It also offers its guests an internal shuttle system if you do not want to walk.

Check out my CSR website below for pics, links and info.

While we loved our stay at CSR last March, if cost wasn't an issue, then the BC is a no brainer. It is a deluxe resort, with better transportation and location, private balconies, access to superior dining, the best pool on WDW property, and larger rooms. And this is coming from someone who has never stayed at BC and who absolutely loves CSR.
