BC or BW, which would you choose?

Love reading all the replies. I researched the Boardwalk Inn last night and it really sounds great. But so does YC/BC. I didn't really think the BW would be ok for kids but it sounds like it would be - I'm not sure where I got that idea. Maybe it from reading about the bars & dance halls nearby but it sounds like things probably wouldn't get to rowdy until late into the evening.

I can't believe I'm saying this because I am a confirmed BWI lover ;) but I think BC has better dining options (and definitely better swimming options) for families with kids. There's a character buffet and Yacht Club Galley (connected to BC) is maybe the best kept secret for breakfast on property! Plus you have easy access to Beaches & Cream, which is so fun - it can be hard to get a table sometimes, but since we were on property, we were able to pop in at odd times and never had to wait. Plus you have the Beach Club Marketplace where you can grab a quick bite.

As for SAB, the sand is very large grain sand, so it doesn't tend to stick to you or get in everything like regular beach sand would.

The week we stayed at BC, I had DS17, DD16, and DD16's BFF with me. They loved it!! WE could go anywhere from there and get whatever we wanted to eat. DS17 wanted mexican food so we walked over to Epcot to the Mexico pavillion and got us some mexican food. DD16 and DD156's BFF wanted pizza, so they went by SAB to get that. We also had gelato at the Marketplace, two character breakfasts at Cape May Cafe ( one was my pick, DD16 added the second one), and dinner at the Yacht Club Galley.

I can't say that BC wouldn't be for older kids. Mine loved it!!!
