I was wondering if anyone has used the DDP CS credits at BC Marketplace. It's not on Disney's DDP list, but I don't see another place at Beach Club to get a CS breakfast. I'd love to hear if they've accepted the DDP for anyone at breakfast or lunch. Thanks!

Yes, I have, in January. I, too, was concerned about whether it was on the DDP. For lunch I got a sandwich, could have chips or a piece of fruit (like an orange), beverage, and for dessert either a cookie, ice cream novelty, or rice krispy treat. I had DDP snacks there-the large gelato and a fruit cup. The only problem was that this was the only location that one time, the CM charged me for a snack instead of putting it on the DDP. The front desk offered to correct it when they saw the charge, but I chose to get another snack instead, just be more careful of what was happening.

The sandwiches at the BC Marketplace are very good - they are filled with high quality ingredients - the roast beef and brie or the turkey and mozzeralla were outstanding. They also have a "made to order" salad where you pick your ingredients (including sliced chicken breast) and they toss it for you.

we looked at the breakfast offerings but decided against them - the eggs that go on the breakfast sandwich were way too runny for my taste.

I agree about the sandwiches but do wish there was more flexibility with sides for QS at the Marketplace. Other resort hotels we've been to allow many different sides other than a bag of chips...fruit cups, side salads, etc. Same with dessert.

PrincessTrisha, I think you must have been there on an off day for the eggs. We've had the omelet sandwiches a number of times on and off the DDP and the eggs have always been very firm....like a baked omelet which is what I think they are.

My favorite breakfast dish though is a wonderful fruit and yogurt parfait. Made to order with blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, granola and even chocolate chips if you like. Wish I had one right now!

Did you notice if this is available on the dinning plan? Is it a snack credit or a counter service credit?

Thanks!

It can be either a snack credit or QS....or at least it was still that way last month. Although we weren't on the DDP, when I gave the CM my room card to pay for it, she told me I could use snack credits for the parfaits....too bad I didn't have any snack credits to use!:rotfl2:

We were at BCV 1/21 - 1/25. We used the DDP at the Marketplace for snacks and CS meals. For our CS meal we were able to get a sandwich (Roast Beef and Brie) and a wrap (vegetable), chips, a drink and a dessert (rice crispy treat, brownie). We used some of our snack credits for breakfast (bagels, muffins, oatmeal, cereal, etc.). The remainder of our snack credits we used for snacks for our trip home (trail mix, mickey cheddar crackers, snack mix, chips, etc.).
