BC Alligator

Are there any public viewing areas where you can see the BC alligator, or can you just see him from the Villas

We have seen the alligator at the end of the canal by the BC
Villa's next to parking. Lot's of turtles to see. Never heard of public viewing. Just have to look. Have a great trip!

Do you have to be staying there to see this area? We're just eating at Cape May.

If the 'gator is still there, all you need to do is park in the parking lot and walk toward the pool. The canal runs under the villas and on your right, you look over the bridge and ypu'll see it. It was not there all the time so it was hit or miss.

Somre reports lately said the gator has been moved? Any recent sightings?

If you are going to the BC you can get to the canal to see if you can see the alligator in 2 ways. You can either walk out of the front of the BC main enterance and follow the path round to the right which will take you to the BCV. (next to the car park) There is then a path that leads into the BCV quiet pool over the canal. You should see the alligator from there. You do not need a key card or anything to do this. Or you could walk through the BC lobby and throught to the BCV via the covered walkway. Then go through the BCV lobby and out to the quiet pool. The canal with the alligator in is on the other side of the quiet pool.
We were lucky when we stayed at the BCV that our 2nd floor balcony overlooked the canal and we saw the alligator and turtles every morning from there.

There last week, did not see the gator - could be hit n miss or maybe he/she has moved on/been moved on

The gator just lives there and is not an animatronic on a schedule. If you see it, you see it. If you don't, you don't.
