BBY code at WL?

I called last week and made reservations using the BBY code but was somewhat disappointed when the CM told me that there were no standard rooms available. We have stayed at WL before and there are tons of rooms. Is this week (2nd week in May) really that busy? I know there are only a limited no. of rooms at this rate but this code was just released and they are already gone? We didn make ressies but had to upgrade to a woods view which cost more. Just wondering what you thought.

This seems to be a common occurance with WL. Seems it is getting pretty popular nowadays. Inexpensive deluxe close to MK. Can't beat it. I wouldn't give up though as people cancel all the time. Just call back every couple of days and check to see if anything has opened up. Good luck and here is some pixie dust too

My DW and I had a std. room at WL for the 2nd week of May, but extended our vacation and upgraded to a woods view. So our std. room probably went back into the "pool."

Std. rooms, especially with the new code, are probably snapped up fast. At $139/night for a deluxe hotel with WL's location -- those rooms won't last.

The best thing to do is call, call, call... sometimes magic happens.

Try Travelocity. Someone else posted that the discounted rates were coming up on Travelocity. I really wanted CSR , but booked POFQ because I couldn't get the discount thru CRO. Sure enough, I checked at Travelocity and it was available.
