BBQ Sauce for cocktail weiners/meatballs?

I wanted to make these for DDs graduation party and can't remember the recipe. When I made it before, I used chili sauce and grape jelly, but don't know the exact amounts or if I added anything else. Does anyone have a recipe? TIA

1-32 ounce jar of grape jelly
1 bottle of chili sauce

This is for up to 2 packages of mini weiners.

1/4 cup Southern Comfort
1/4 any good BBQ sauce

1 can jellied cranberry sauce
1 bottle chili sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice

To make these a bit more economical, since you may be making quite a few, instead of buying the packages of mini weiners, I've used either kielbasa or smoked sausage and cut them up into bite sized pieces.

We just use a big package of coctail weiners from Sams then pour in some BBQ sauce and a beer. Cook them in the crockpot and enjoy a few hours later.

Can someone please tell me what jelly does in this recipe? The one and only time I have made the Lil Smokies is just with BBQ sauce. They came out fine. I did buy a big bag of them at Sam's and it wasn't pricey.

Thanks everyone for all the different variations on the recipe. We will be making both meatballs and cocktail weiners for DDs party tomorrow. We decided to do the grape jelly version for the meatballs and the cranberry sauce version for the cocktail weiners(which I bought in a big bag at Sam's). We'll see if we like one better than the other.

Shelbyjosh - I think the jelly adds sweetness. The chili sauce is pretty tangy by itself. The combination of the jelly and chili sauce is very similar to BBQ sauce.

mine is:
1 big bottle ketchup --approx 36 oz (Brooks is best, Heinz is 2nd best)
2 jars (12 oz each) red currant jelly.
1 big bag of meatballs from Sam's or GFS

MMMMM. Graduation party on Saturday will probably have these.
