BBQ in Dec

Do they ever do the Backyard BBQ at Ft. Wilderness in December or is it just too cold?

I have already made a ps for December 9 at 6:00 p.m. I am not sure what the other dates are.

I have never been to this myself and would welcome any and all input. The kids in my party will be 14, 14, 11, and 4.

From the reviews I have read, I have really gotten mixed emotions. Therefore, anyone who has done this in December, I would love to hear your experience.
