BBQ Grills

I use a $29 cheapo from Wally World. It does what I need and if it falls apart in a couple of years, no great loss. I've had it two year already and only gone through 2-3 small cylinders, so I'm not a big user. It's small enough to fit in one of my lesser used compartments under the MH and will sit on a picnic table. I usually elevate it on wood blocks to minimize heat to the table.

I carry the Coleman Roadtrip with me. I bought it at a Coleman outlet store for a substantial savings. I like it for it's interchangeability and also bought the griddle, stove tops, and the roll around storage bag. Granted, there are better grills out there that are great for strictly grilling, but this fits my need & stores easily in one of my compartments.

We use the Coleman Roadtrip. The interchangeable plate are awesome. It is colapsible and easy to store.

We use the $29 one from Walmart. We've had it for 2 years and figured we got our money's worth after the first few uses. It works great for the 2 of us!

You don't grill your fish? Don't tell me you're into sushi?

Yupper, we do grill fish, charcoal only,,no gas.
And wy,YES, I love sushi,:thumbsup2,,yesterday for supper we had Ahi tuna, med-rare,,(closer to rare) .
Also like fried fish, baked fish, broiled fish, fish over a open fire, and speak'n of open fire have you ever had (fresh) fish onna stick ?

I'm new to RVing...what makes the Webber Q so good. I can't see it. The same with the Coleman's and the other small portable grills. What am I missing? The same goes for the $200 grills you buy at the RV dealers.

I reall want to know why I shouldn't get a $25 WalMart special.

Thanks.
Steve

Weber Q!

Why?

1) Weber makes some of the best propane grills around...large and small.
2) Great reputation.
3) They have factory service reps and honor their warrantees.
4) You can buy parts for grill they made 30+ years ago.
5) They are well made and last a looooong time.

AND the most important reason:

6) They cook a great steak!

You have to respect a man who knows what to do with a fish!

As for fish on a stick... I've seen it, but haven't tried it. At the Wisconsin State fair you can find pretty much any food on a stick. Maybe I'll fire up the Sunbeam grill this weekend and slap some fish on a stick. My Dad always said, "It tastes better on a stick". Grilled, and on a stick should be even better!

But what warrants the cost? They aren't that much better built than a $99 full size char-broil - 300 square inches of cooking area and a stand. Granted, it's not portable but $125 for a Q that has no stand and only about 100 square inches of cooking area?

I know they are better than a $25 uniflame from Wal-Mart but 5 times the cost?

Make me want to buy a Q.
