I know this has been discussed many times, but what do you think about it? Is it worth the money? What package did you choose? DD is 4. We aren't planning on doing any character dining so is it dumb to let her get dressed for nothing? :confused3

Check out the thread link in my sig you will find packages/prices/pics. The girls have so much fun. My dd did it twice last year and will doing it again for our trip this year. The first time she did the crown package it wasn't worth it to me to do the extra 10 dollars for nail polish/nails. The second time she did it was for her bday so we did the castle package since we were getting her new costume. We didn't go anywhere for either of them.

My DD6 did the highest package (with the dress/shoes/etc.) last summer and is VERY excited about doing BBB again. This time she wants to be Aurora, since last year she was Cinderella. IMHO, I think it's worth every penny...to see her expression when she saw herself in the mirror. She received such special attention, my DD17 insisted that we call DD6 'Princess' allll day. The store in DTD where you take the photos, there is a "princess register' and only REAL princesses can sign it. DD6 STILL tells her classmates (and anyone who will listen) that she IS a REAL princess because she had to sign the book. Oh, and that she has her very own fairy godmother (Rose). Also, the quality of the dresses can't be beat.
Have fun with any package you choose!

Hi TXTeacher, you said the dress quality can't be beat. Does this mean they are not made from the scratchy kind of "fake" material that most Halloween costumes are made of? Are the shoes "Real" or the dress up kind? Can and did your DD wear the shoes all day or need to change into runners or sandals? Do you know if you bring your own dress can you just buy the accessories there, including the shoes?

Thanks so much!!

I do not think the dresses are made from the scratchy/cheap/fake material like those found at wal-mart (those are still nice, don't get me wrong). Also, there is much more detail in the dresses...have you had a chance to look at allears.net? they have lots of pics of BBB. I'm not sure if you remember the "jelly shoes" that were popular in the 80's...but that's what cindy's shoes look like, they are clear, cover the toe and have a strap in the back with a small heel...adorable! They became too hot/sweaty for our DD6, so we switched to sandals. We had ADR's at the royal table , so she went dressed for that...but this year we are not doing crt and she's still doing BBB. You can bring your own dress and buy ALL and EVERY kind of accessory you can think of. The package with the dress includes another crown, wand, shoes, dress and of course the fake nails and left over make up. Let me know if you have other questions...have a great trip!!!

THanks for the info TX Teacher, I appreciate it. BBB sure seems like a wonderful place. Have a wonderful trip!!

My dd had the full package our last trip and LOVED it! She really felt like a princess and especially enjoyed shopping for her costume, shoes, ect.. and especially the photo shoot. It was worth every penny, just the memories alone that she has;) The photo shoot was great, they really take their time and take TONS of photos to pick from. The costume was very comfy (she picked Ariel wedding, in my sig below) and the shoes were real shoes that she was abe to wear with all her dresses at home.

My DD only had her hair and makeup done before MNSSHP, I brought along a costume that I had ordered from the Disney Store. My DD is so rough on her dress-up clothes that I coudln't see buying the expensive dress. My DD loved having this done but we aren't going to do it again this year because we are doing the water parks almost every day and she wouldn't be able to keep the look for very long.
