We're are planning our next trip in 2010 - I'm a planning freak.:goodvibes Anyway, my DD will be 12 going on 13 then and although she's 10 now she keeps talking about how much she would like to do BBB when she goes next time. She loves Belle. Would she look out of place there at 12? Also, as for prices - she wants to dress up as Belle, so do they have the costumes there and up to what sizes? Are the dresses outrageously expensive? Which pkg would you recommend? How far out do you have to book it? Sorry for all the questions, especially since we are a long ways out from actually going.

I would recommend the middle package for you dd's age. the old costumes went up to a size 14 but I don't know about the new one I can only assume they will I just don't know how many they will carry. As for dressing up disney's guidelines are for 10 and under so if you think she can get away w/ than she would be fine in the parks but she slip it on for meals and BBB and any party you may attend if you thing she will not pass for 10. And they may not even say anything to you it just turns into an issue of mistaken identity in disney's opinion. If she wears it in the park just have an extra change of clothes just in case.

Check the link in my sig lots of great photos and other helpful info.

They actually have adult sizes too. I asked. I wasn't planning on purchasing just wanted to know. I did the BBB in May for myself. I would recommend the basic package. The next one up includes nail polish but the polish is very very slight in color. I had the pop princess hairdo. The one with the multi colored highlights.

james'mommy & cancer_survivor_06: Thank for both of your replies.:thumbsup2 I really appreciate it. I'm so glad that she won't look out of place - we are planning on doing MNSHP when we go and she really wants to dress up for it. Well - actually we all do. She's such a girly girl - I've no idea where she got that from. :confused3

The difference between the Coach and Crown package is only $5. If you go for the Crown, you get 2 bottles of nail polish, a pearly pink or pearly blue. For $5 I think it's worth it get the nails done too. It's always nice to have a Fairy Godmother in Training to be pampering you and putting on polish and your makeup. You get to keep the 2 bottles too. They did offer me a choice of press on nails too, but I told them only nail polish for my 4 year old!

Disney prices have already gone up $5 for the 2008-2009 season. Be prepared for it to continue to rise for 2010.

My dd is 9 and I just booked the basic package for her. We have several costumes we've bought from the disney store over the past few years, so we'll bring one of those along with us.

The great thing about the BBB is that you can be a princess from a Disney story, or a princess of your own choosing. If your DD likes the princesses and wants to dressup like one, she can. But if your DD is a little older and whats something different, she can costumize her look with her own style of clothes. My DD did this last year. Out of pure coincidence, she was a rainbow princess. She had chosen to wear a shirt that had rainbows all over it with a pair of light blue capris. When we got to the BBB, she was so pleased to find they offered a rainbow pop princess hair do. She looked absolutely adodrable and got many compliments.

This year, we are going back, and she so wants to do the BBB again. We are going with her "BFF," and they are already trying to decide what outfit they are going to wear. They will be 9 and 10yrs old, and I think they are looking for an outfit that will not only highlight their spikey pop princess hair styles but their liking of the Jonas Brothers as well ~ like Rock Princesses! Who knows what the end picture will be, but they are having fun with it in their own way. :goodvibes
