Can you get an appointment for just make-up and nails? My DD has issues with her hair being done. I would do that but wonder if you can get the other stuff done without the hair?

Absolutely. We have a hair and nails package booked for my daughter and we are bringing a discounted Halloween costume to save money.

No..there is no package available with out the hair. You can purchase the makeup and nail polish separately (the sell it at the BBB counter and in the gift shops) and then just have them sprinkle some pixie dust over her (anyone can get pixie dust for free just by asking).

All the products they use for BBB are for sale in the store. You could do it all yourself. They even sell the sashes and tiaras and hair extensions. You could call BBB and see if they have a package w/o hair but they will probably charge you the hair nails and makeup price.

There is no package without hair. When we went we did not want one service, we still had to pay for the complete package. The FGIT just did not do the service we did not want.

Thank you. I don't mind paying because it's the experience of it :)

Just so you know...the cheapest package is about $50 and the makeup is eyeshadow, lipgloss and a sticker. Nail polish takes about 2 mins tops. I wouldn't want to see you spend a lot of money to be disappointed.

Thank you. She says she would let them do her hair if I would brush it out first (which I know I have to anyway) so I think we will be okay either way.

I found the links for the BBB but is it extra $$ for them to put in a hairpiece? I still have one from last year.

The price is the same regardless of what hairstyle you choose or if you bring your own. You will not get a discount for bringing it back. The pop princess and disney diva use a hairpiece, the fairytale princess does not but the price is the same for all 3 styles. There are 3 tiers of prices: coach (hair and makeup), crown (hair, makeup and nails), castle(hair, makeup, nails, costume and photos).

I'm in the same boat! My DD4 absolutely does NOT want her hair done, but she wants the make-up and nails. I also have DD6, who is getting her hair done, so we'll be there anyway. I thought about canceling DD4's appointment and just buying her a crown and makeup kit, but I'd feel awful if she changes her mind once we get there and they can't fit her in. So, yep, I'm probably going to pay $50 for make-up and pixie dust. :rotfl: Call me crazy, but it's vacation, and I want my little princess to be happy.

Can you book your 6 year old the package for hair, makeup and nails and then let her get the hairdo and the 4 yr old get the makeup and nails? Then they both get what they want and it saves you $50

I'm not sure they'd even let us break it up like that, but I think DD6 would feel "cheated." When we were there in '08, my younger DD was still 2, so she couldn't have an appointment. My older DD had an 8 a.m. appt., and the place was empty. The FGiTs were soooo great, practically begging to do the 2-year-old's make-up/nails with my other DD's supplies at no charge. Of course, DD was extremely tired and cranky(last morning of our 7-day trip... luckily she perked up when we met Cindy at CRT!), so she just wanted me to hold her the whole time. That scenario would be ideal this time, but I know there's no guarantee the FGITs will have time and an empty chair to do that. I'll ask DD4 about it again closer to our trip. She may decide to do an extra couple rides with her dad instead, and save me all the stress of trying to decide what to do! :confused3
