BBB in August?

Is it worth it to do the BBB in August? Or even Pirates League? My feeling that it's so hot and the kids would just complain about having make up on their face or their hair pulled back.

Would love to see your littles dressed up as well!

We haven't done them in August, but we have doe both. BBB I don't think would be an issue as the make up is really just eye shadow and lipstick and a little glittery decal on the cheek. Hair pulled up and back is actually a plus in the heat, and there is so much product in it it isn't moving.

Pirates league, IDK. When my son did it he chose a full face painting kind of design, so I guess if it were really hot and humid it could run or or be uncomfortable.

My daughter did BBB in August when she was younger. She did the high bun so her hair was off her neck which was great. The makeup only lasts a day anyway, and hers didn't melt off at all.

We plan on doing it in July. I figure the hair style we do will get my oldest daughters hair off her neck and if the makeup runs, we will just wash her face. She wants it for the experience, not the makeup
