BBB for the Hair Challenged

So I broke down and made ressies for DTD BBB for my 3yo. She loves getting her nails done and play at her vanity. And although I think a WDW is special enough as it is without all the bells and whistles, Disney won this round.

Here is my question, my DD is 3 but with very fine, very short hair. I can just now get it all into a small ponytail. What will the fairy godmother hair designers be able to do for her? I always see buns on the girls who were at BBB. My dd won't be able to pull that off. TIA

From All-ears:

There are three hairstyles available for girls:

Disney Diva -- Hair is pulled back, and a little ponytail hairpiece is added, teased on top, and decorated with hair accessories

Pop Princess -- A funky look with little braids, a colorful hairpiece and Mickey shaped clips.

Fairytale Princess -- Hair is swept up to the top of the head and crowned with a tiara for a smooth, classic look.

My daughter had shorter hair this last year at Disney, so I thought I would post a couple pics so you could see what they did. It wasn't SUPER short, but you may be able to see that the sides were shorter, so it was hard to pull back. You couldn't even tell after the fairy godmothers were done.

So, like I said, though her hair wasn't super short, it was still shortish. I think they will do a great job with her. Oh, I just remembered...my niece's was short and they just left a little row of hair loose at the bottom. It was still able to be pulled up into a bun like my smallest daughter's. However, if your daughter would like a hairpiece, they look beautiful too.

My daughter had very short and thin hair when we went and the fairy godmother much have seen the worry in my face cause she turned to me and said "Don't worry mom, this is Disney World afterall where magic happens everyday." They got her hair up and looking like a bun. I added a link to her day as a princess so you can see. I tried to add a photo but it won't let me til I do more posts....I guess I better get on that

As a rule, I have no use for the BBB but this brought a tear to my eye. I'm glad they have options for everyone who does want to participate.

Thanks so much, especially for the photos. All my Google searches couldn't provide adequate photos on the styles I am thinking my DD will need the hair piece. She literally has the hair length and volume of some one year olds I had to do bands and bows every day for 2 years so ppl wouldn't call her a boy, even though she was in pink.


That was so sweet that the Fairy Godmother picked up on your concern. I am hoping they can work some magic on my daughter.
