BBB- Courtyard Package

We are doing BBB with my 4 1/2 year old next month. She has done BBB once before, and she did the Castle Package. However, she is now more than a year older and has decided she does not like to wear princess dresses as they are itchy. She still wants to do BBB, but without the dress. I saw there is a Courtyard Package with a tee and tutu (she loves tutus...go figure). Does anyone have pics from this package? Is the tutu worth it?

I also saw you can only choose one hairstyle with this package.

I'm considering doing this package or just doing the package with the hair, nails, and makeup.....buying the tee shirt and bringing a tutu. We have plenty of them at home.

Just an idea if you decide to just do BBB and bring your own outfit you could always bring an 'inspired-by' cotton dress for her. A lot more comfortable, and if you don't sew I know there are plenty of them sold on Etsy.

Thanks. I will definitely check out the etsy dresses. That might even be a better idea as we are meeting E&A that day. If we can get an Elsa inspired dress, she would love that.

I also looked at the thread. There was a lot of good information. From the advertising on the BBB website, it doesn't seem to have changed unless the hairstyle is different. I might get an inspired dress and I'm sure we will be bringing tutus anyway. I'll just let my DD decide what she wants to do when we get there. It may depend on what hairstyle she wants as you can only get the one hairstyle with the Courtyard Package. Looking at the pic, I'm afraid she won't like the twisting of the hair. Either way, I'm sure we will get use out of an extra dress during our trip.

My daughter got the tutu and t shirt with her package at BBB. We actually brought a few dresses from home though and let her pick something out that she wanted to change into when we got to BBB. But the tutu and t shirt were actually good quality I thought and worth it since she's worn them a bunch of times since.

Thanks, Sullyfam. 10 years ago I wouldn't have had to ask about the quality of Disney merchandise, but these days it can be hit or miss. I did order an Elsa sundress. I'm going to just let her decide when we get there.
