BBB - bringing my own dress

I have a reservation at BBB for my two girls and would like to bring my own dresses for them. Will I need to change them into the dresses beforehand or will they be able to change into the dresses at the boutique in their changing rooms? Not sure if it would be frowned upon since we would not be buying a dress from there. Thanks!

They can change at the boutique, your fairy godmother in training will call you back when it is time for them to change.

I was planning on doing the same thing this summer for my daughter. I was under the impression they can come dressed or they can change there. It seems easy enough.

From my experience I would have them changed before they do the hair/makeup. One, it's nice to have them in pretty dresses during the photos when they're getting ready, and two, you won't have to worry about messing up their hair/makeup/nails when getting dressed.

Back when my DD16 went (she was about 5 at the time), she wore her dress to the appointment.

We are bringing our own dress and have been told we can get changed there in the change room. We are going to the Disney Springs location because I liked the look of it better than the one at MK.
I plan on changing her into her dress before she gets her hair done.

You can definitely change there with your own dresses! Whether you need to change or not, the experience starts in the dressing room! Your girls will go inside and the fair godmother will appear in the mirror after a few minutes. My daughter was already dressed when we got there, and they still sent us in the dressing room for the full experience, which was magical.
