Hi folks! Doing some advance planning here! We plan to head to WDW in November the week before Thanksgiving. My girls will be 3 and 5 this trip (really nearly 4 and 6 by the time we go). We have never done BBB before, and I sort of think this will be the best time to have them do it while there is still lots of princess fascination.

I am tenatively considering a mid-afternoon BBB appointment, followed by some princess FP meets (really whatever we can snag at Fairytale Hall), dinner at BOG (hopefully early, like 4:30), and then the party.

I am wondering if a non princess meal will make BBB a waste? I will have some other folks with us who likely won't want to use two TS credits at CRT. So, I thought it might be fun pre-party. Are there some unique princess meets at MVMCP?

Thanks!

I think your plan sounds like a great alternative to CRT. CRT is not an after-BBB necessity in my opinion.

I totally understand people loving this experience, but I never did BBB with my daughter. The two hairstyle choices they limit you to (tight bun or tight bun with plastic hair extensions) didn't appeal to either of us, and the cost is really high for what you get. When she was little we used to dress her up at the resort as a princess (or fairy or pirate) every morning and she felt just as special as any BBB customer - and was treated as such by all CMs as well! We were also able to give her a hairstyle that was more like the princess she was wanting to be that day.

We did BBB at 1pm at DTD before going to MK to eat at BOG, meet Anna and Elsa, and then go to MNSSHP. I didn't want to put DD through a full park day in clothes/makeup/hair that weren't the most comfortable. We got super cute pictures of her with The Beast, A&E, and Jack and Sally. Worked out nicely.

I haven't been to the party yet but have done BBB when my oldest DD had just turned 5 and if your girls are anything like she is they will love it. Those are good ages, might be a little over the 3 year olds head.

BOG is beautiful! It truly looks like a castle inside, I don't think your BBB appointment will be wasted at all by eating there. When you check in put in a request for the ballroom. That definitely has more of a castle feel to it than the west wing.

I think the fp for princess M&G is a great idea and am planning on doing the same thing myself when we go in December. My only other suggestion would be to see if you can fp enchanted tales with belle. Especially if one of your dd's is going to dress as belle, then it would be super fun.

Thanks everyone. Glad to know that this can be a fun and special option without CRT. We love CRT but it is 2 TS credits, and I personally found BOG to have a very special feel. Maybe I'll change my mind, but MVMCP seems like a fun and unique way to use the princess BBB experience. We are also planning Akershus and 1900 PF so we still plan on Princess dining. However, I'm inclined to skip CRT unless something incredible happened during the refurb.
