BBB at Grand Floridian

Does anyone have more info on this?
We have the BBB booked at Disney Springs because I liked the look of the location better than the one at MK.
Seemed better themed, bigger area etc
But we are staying at Boulder Ridge and spending the day at MK after our 9am appointment so it would be easier to do it at GF, I was thinking of getting a Minnie Van from DS to MK afterwards though if we stick with DS.

Looks like it opens Aug. 6th. Unfortunately, we will miss it. We will be there in July. I wanted to try the new location for the same reasons you mentioned. We are just going to do the castle to avoid the hassle of going to DS before MK.

We’re going in September so it will be open then.
If it’s the same as MK I won’t book it so maybe I’ll book a slot and wait and see if it is small or not then cancel if need be.
I like the DS one it’s so much more open and the theming is great, I know my 3yo will love it.

I *think* (and don't quote me on this) that the new one at GF is supposed to have new features and decor like the one at DS. And the one at the castle is being remodeled to include the new features. Construction is one of the reasons I'm not crazy about going to that location, but I'm going put up with it for convenience.

thankyou. I went ahead and booked GF and also kept the DS appointment as well. I'll wait and see some reviews and photos after it is open and make my decision then.

According to the website prices are a little higher than the other locations. I don't know if it's because of the new features or what.

Thanks for posting this, I figured they would all be the same. But looking at the WDW site they also have different packages. The Crown package that we wanted isn't available at GF and the cheapest one is $20 more expensive.
BUT when I think about it, for us, it is so much easier for us to get to GF then to MK than it is to get to DS then to MK it might be worth the extra $20 and just stick with the GF.
Instead of the "crown" package they call it the "carriage" package and you get a T-shirt. We're bringing our own Dress so won't need the shirt, but I'm sure DD will wear it another time.

FYI: MK location has a PhotoPass studio, too, including a prop glass slipper.

Yes, we did the one at Grand Floridian. It was wonderful. The location was beautiful, the salon was a little on the small side, but I have nothing to compare it too as this was our first BBB experience.
The wait time was long after our appointment time. But this location was new so I was putting it down to "teething problems" but once we got called up it was smooth sailing.
Because we were staying at WL it was so easy to get there, we did splurge on a Minnie Van which DD absolutely loved and then it was off to MK for the day.
