I am planning on doing BBB for my 3 1/2 year old and then eat at CRT. Any suggestions if you like to do it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I don't want to take up too much touring time. I was also was thinking it may be good to do on a rest day. Any thoughts?

Hmmm...on our rest days, we tend to hang by the resort pool. I don't know if you want to pay all that money & then have your DD go swimming and mess up her hair/any makeup.

I personally, would schedule an early morning BBB session & then make that a MK park day. She will look fabulous! Have fun!

Agreed! I made the first appointment for DD at BBB. I beleive it was 8:05am. She was done well before the park even opened. Then I scheduled lunch at CRT for 1:10pm. By that time we were ready for a break. No need to worry. She rode Space Mountain about 5 times, Big ThunderMountain Railroad about 3 times and a slew of other rides and her hair never moved.

We did this too and I thought it was brilliant!! We had an 8:05 am appt (at the castle), were done in plenty of time for regular park opening at 9am and had plenty of time to ride rides until our CRT lunch. Her 'do still looked fabulous and she took a pic w/Cinderella that came w/the meal, so we didn't spend any time doing photopass photo shoot. I think it would be too hard on a kid to spend 30 minutes sitting still as a statue to immediately go to eat when you can see and hear all the wonders of Fantasyland! Make it a park day and let her enjoy being treated like royalty by all the CMs.

We did a evening BBB, immediately followed by dinner at CRT and we loved it. No, it wasn't the hustle & bustle of the park, but my daughter loved the Wishing Ceremony anyway. I thought I might regret doing it at night, but they plastered her hair with so much hairspray & glitter that it lasted for several days. Yes, the makeup wore off, but they put a little too much on there anyway ;) Plus they give you the remaining palette of makeup, so I let her put on more lip gloss. Her hairstyle lasted 3 days, even after swimming (she never went under the water).

Florida is so hot we have chose to enjoy the a.m. then go back to the room for a nap. Then we plan to return to do BBB around 3 and dinner at 5. I always see those poor kids dressed up sweating or the parents are hauling the costume around.

These are great ideas. Thank you! We are going in December so we won't have to worry about her being too hot in her dress. Hopefully it will be warm enough to swim. I think having an appt. before the park opens and then going to CRT for lunch may be a good idea. I just wasn't sure if the dinner menu was better then lunch.
Also do you dress them up before you leave your resort or do you put them in their dresses when you get to BBB?

My daughter loves to wear her princess dresses. This past trip we were at WDW in December, so it was cooler. But our usual time to visit is in September. And even with 95 degree weather and 90% humdity, she will wear those stinkin princess dresses all day long. I feel the CM's make a bigger deal of the girls when they are all made up. Plus during character meets, she's had Stitch, Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale plus the Beast bow to her dressed in her princess garb. She loves it.

She wears it from the time we leave the hotel room until we come back. But not all kids are like my DD so you may want to take a change of clothes in case your DD gets tired of her dress.

So cute! I think my daughter will be just like yours and want to wear it all day. She will probably want to put it back on the next day too :rotfl: I can't wait to see her done up. She is going to LOVE it!

Two years in a row we have done the 8:05 BBB followed with breakfast at 9:00am. Yes, we missed the opening of the park, but it worked the best for us. The lunch/dinner menu just doesn't appeal to us.

Last trip, we did an 8:05 BBB appointment on my dd's 3 yo birthday. We finished around 8:50 and waited for the park to open. We then did Fantasyland (with virtually no lines) for about an hour plus, then sat down for a CRT breakfast around 10:20. Perfect combo, because we still took advantage of some prime (but relaxed) touring time.

HTH. :)
