BB locker question

I was wondering if any of you forego getting a locker at the water parks if you don't have a bunch of stuff with you. Can you "park" a bag on a chair somewhere and leave it for a while (it would only have sunscreen, a towel, maybe a t-shirt or hat or something in it), or will it likely walk off?

Small locker for keys, money etc. That I won't leave laying.

Lounge chairs etc with towels, lotions, clothes, shoes, snacks.
Never have a problem.

We always do that and never have had a problem. We just keep our room key card, AP's, small amount of cash & safe key in one of those waterproof cases they sell at the waterparks. DW packs the key card, cash & passes inside a small ziplock "baggie" inside the case & they stay nice & dry.
