I think we should go with the dollar store labels and print. Now if someone would be so kind as to tell me how to do it! LOL

I will look for labels tomorrow too. I will pick up a few packs for anyone who needs them.

For sorting colors I would go with 1 bag per color. It will make sorting a lot easier for me. I all ready have a plan in my head.

Thanks everyone for being so patient! My computer is doing better but the hard drive makes a lot of noise if I try to do a gillion things at once. So I'm taking my time working on things.

All I will say is: will the labels stay stuck? (I've had issues with things sticking to Bazzill but its generally OK on the flat side) As long as I can read the writing I don't mind either way - whatever's easier for you!

I've had no problem with my labels sticking and I've put them on the backside so the color/pattern can be seen in order to match it up.

Shauna had the list for the assigned group. She is feeling a little under the weather so she hasn't been online. But I think we will have your list before CKC.

Trish, what we will do is get you a list of 18 colors to buy either at your LSS or online. You will then need to buy 1 12x12 sheet of each color. Cut those into 24 2x3 pieces (using your straight trimmer (not scissors)) and mail those to me and also the return postage for a small flat rate priority box.

I will PM you my address. When everyone has their list. In the mean time post around the creative community so we can get to know you. When you hit 10 posts you can PM people and post pictures.

by creative community do you mean here or on another thread. I am new to this board thing also. usually did all of my stuff at my lss but she is closing and all I will have is Michaels and acmoore. yuck really.

If you click on Creative Community it will bring you back to the main part of our forum. We have crafts, home decorating, gardening, scrapbooking, swaps, and the bottom part which we call the living room.

The living room is where we post chit chat, to do lists, etc. Everything else is self explanatory. We have virtual scrapbooks, both digital and traditional in the scrapbook section.

Just a few pointers in case you didn't read the guidelines. We can't advertise businesses or sell things. And if you have a blog and you put a link in your signature, you have to have a link back to the DIS in your blog.

I think I will push the due date back to Sept 15. We planned a back to back trip to WDW so I won't even be home Aug 21-24 and 29-31. And this will give me time to hunt down the colors. I have my color names and my colors, now I just need to match them up.

I really need my colors as soon as possible I have to order some cardstock for SDV and I want to order it once. By the time I pay shipping twice it won't be worth my while to be in the swap. It has to arrive by the 18th so I need to get my colors ordered asap. If you want I can just choose colors on a site that haven't been picked already.
