Bazzill only swaps?

Ok, I don't understand the whole "usable items" thing. Are you guys saying you are only doing a swap for a specific layout? Then why would dates be so far into the future?

Maybe I just look at this differently but when I do participate in a swap, and yes PixieDust32 I know no one is required to participate, it is to have a stock to use for a particular type of photos I will scrap over time. So I never plan to use everything at once. As an example, the last swap I participated in was a Girl Scout swap...since DD is a GS I know I'll have photos of that type for several years and I'll use the swap pieces here and there as I do layouts in which 1 or 2 might be appropriate.

Or is something else being done with these? I guess I could see putting "kits" together or something but whatever...guess I'm just doomed to be

Cool! It was just my opinion. I do it more for fun a hobby and also because I got over a 1000 pictures of Disney vacations, so anything I can do helps.

Oh I missed the Girls Scouts, my 2 DD's are in G.S.

I personally love the bazzill swaps. They have been my favorite swaps so far! I love the look, and feel of the paper. Everything I get has been usable. Not to say other stuff hasn't been but I have found it is harder to coordinate the pieces with what I am scrapping so many of the items sit in their bags.
As for the fading..bazzill isn't the first to fade. I have seen other paper in the stores with fade marks. So I just won't grab the top few pieces. I think once it is home and in my binders it will be fine.
Plus another nice thing bazzill goes so nice with in their color palete.

You've got a point, Joy. Bazzill is widely available at the LSS or on line. I love the Stampin' Up cardstock (even though it is not textured), but if you don't know a consultant, it's hard to find. I also like the CTMH cardstock because it has a white center that looks cool in paper tearing.

I'm trying to remember the name of another cardstock - is it American Craft? Some of the lss carry it.

oooh, I love KI papers, mostly the stripy ones though. they had a great stripy one 2 years ago, fire mabye? it was fabulous for the chinese dragon parade. love that paper! maggie

Personally I really love to use bazzill. I just love the colors, the texture and the thickness. I like Colormates too, but my top choice would be the bazzill. So for me, Bazzill swaps are great.

I like the swaps that have a seperate groups for bazzill and regular cs. I think that's the best of both worlds. Plus I really prefer to do page kit type of swaps and with that, it's much easier to match everything up. (sorry just had to use this smilie. LOL!)

Same here! All my friends raved about Bazzill, so I went and got some and now I am addicted.

As for the "Only" swaps, personally I wouldn't join one because like Judith M, I like the Mix and Match swaps as well!

I don't think there are any inside jokes, if so I don't get them . lol I think some people just like the smileys. I think they are cute so I use them as well.
I think when Pixie used she was replying to this smiley at the bottom of another reply. Sort of like saying that this smiley makes her laugh her butt off cause it's cute. I could be wrong but that's what I took it as.

If I'm wrong pixie please correct me. I don't want to put words in your mouth
