I really LOVE your designs!!! If you have a spare moment, could you do the Elvin one without any words except for "Walt Disney World" and maybe Pluto in place of one of the others? Also, I saw one of your custom Star Wars designs on another post (Stitch with a lightsaber) and was wondering if you could do that one without the words at the top?

It's kinda hard to explain, but I'll try! lol
My technique ultilizes techniques you are familiar with (I say this after looking at your design, you should be more than proficent to do this).
1st, we need to make your "metal" texture for the ears...

we need a "reflective" image. For my surprise one I used the wwyc wallpaper.
you want to gausen blur it till it's barely recognizable.

then we need a metallic image (I just grabbed a chrome image off of google)
we want to place tha image over the first one covered fully.
then we want to make the metal image transparent (usually between 30-50%)play with it a little till you get what you want.

now we need to make it appear reflective.
we want to make a box cover the other two images and make it white-ish.
make then we want to make it transparent about 5-10%
then we want the brush tool and make white random streaks all over that box to make the "reflect lines" (set the brush to about 30% transparent).

you may need to toy with them to get the effect you want.
save it and there's your metal texture!

Next you just make your ear shape
and like you would do with the names with images,
you'd import your "metal texture"
position it over your ear shape
Cut the texture
"paste inside" the ear shape
Finally give it some sort of bevel via the bevel filter (this will also give it an extra "gloss"

hope this made sense!

It's the "What Will You Celebrate" wallpaper I got from that sweepstakes they had a few months back with the castle in the clouds and the balloons.

I'll try an eeyore, but can't promise you anything. those designs rely on simple detailed characters. Sometimes I get lucky.
