Balcony or, if ground level, a porch. All studios will be part of a 2BR lock-off. The 2BR lock-offs are designed to have a balcony on the studio side, a balcony off the bedroom of the 1BR and no balcony in the living room of the 1BR (although you will have access from the living room to the balcony off the bedroom in the 1BR portion)
