Hi Disney DVC owners,

My family is going to disney from Feb 16th-23rd. He have a one bedroom. What location should we request for our room ? Any suggestions ?

Do you have a standard view, a lake view or a theme park view?

We stayed before at a 1-bedroom "Lake" view but actually had a pretty good view of MK (though not direct). There is a room view guide on touringplans.com I think.

If you want partial MK view request north side, even-numbered room, high floor.

I had one of those dream rooms, perfect height and placement to see MK and the lake during Christmas and NYE. And weirdly enough it felt "off" to me. Isolated or something. Strange I know. And I have lived in high rise condos for almost twenty years. So who knows.

I think I need to see more people and action.

Sorry - I happen to love that side - it feels more private to me and I don't feel I am on display. (which I did in the one facing the monorail) - never been to Diseny before and kept the curtains close most of the time. I did that trip.

Most people love that side spiceycat. I am the one who is weird. :rotfl2:;)

I was beyond excited and felt very fortunate to get it, by the way. It is very tranquil. In the end, just not me.

I am looking for quiet but being close to the walk way.
It's a small resort. I think you're always within 10 rooms of the walkway. But, why do you want to be near the walkway?

We had a high floor all the way at the far end of the horseshoe 8th floor, -02 room) and we loved it! Living room had a peaceful sunrise view of the lake, and fireworks visible from MBR balcony. The best of both worlds. I loved being walking distance from MK and still feeing secluded.
