The size of the villa at BLT will depend on if it inside the C facing the lake or outside the C facing the MK. The curvature of the building makes the room configuration different on each side of the corridor.

Having stayed in both with our 2 kids, my vote would be for Bay Lake. We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa at Bay Lake and our kids absolutely loved it! The pool was zero entry and they loved, loved, loved the slide and sprinklers. My DH and also loved the less than 10 minute walk to the MK, not having to drag the kids on a bus or monorail after the park to get back to our hotel was priceless. If you are spending more time at MK, Bay Lake is the way to go.

Oh my goodness thank you all SO much for your input!! I know that BLT isn't as "Disney themed" as the other resorts but I feel like the parks make up for that and that's where we spend 80% of our time

We would definitely get the 1 bedroom villa at BLT and hearing there is a soft reno happening makes me happy to hear! I think that's where we're leaning because of the age our children will be and the convenience. From what I can see in the pictures, the pool area looks really nice and I think it will be more fun for our kids.

With 3 small children I agree with others that BLT would be the best choice for you. Just being able to walk to MK is great with kids. The Contempo Cafe is great for quick service meals and you can always hop on the monorail and eat at the Poly or GF. You won't be disappointed with the BLT. Have a great trip!!
