What sort of room request do people do for Studio Resort View rooms? This is my first BLT stay, just a couple nights early/mid Sept (caught it when they had that sudden drop of rooms recently). It looks like all these rooms are on the the first 4 floors.

I’m not DVC so viewing the fireworks from the BLT Lounge is out for me. I think I read somewhere you can see the fireworks from the hallways and there is even seating near the windows on each floor, can anyone confirm that?

IMO the best place to watch the fireworks is on the bridge between BLT and contemp (4th or 5th floor). The music is piped in and it is not crowded.

Resort view rooms, there aren't many, and they are all low, but I like to request not first floor, so we get a little view of something.

If "resort view" is a new term for "standard view", you will be on floor 5 or below. There are 2 north facing rooms on each of floors 4 and 5.
On floor 3 there are 2 interior facing, 2 north facing, and 2 parking lot facing.
On Floor 2 there are 2 interior, 1 north, 1 parking lot, and 1 south.

Most people would ask for a north facing or parking lot facing room, where you have a possible sharp angle toward the Magic Kingdom. Others would choose floor 5, to avoid the elevator to be on the same level as the bridge.
With small numbers, your chances of a specific view or floor are pretty low. 7 north facing is best odds, but, everyone will be asking for those.

For all of you BLT experts….From past experiences, what are the chances of a 2 bedroom availability at 7 months?

We're usually in a GV at BLT. However, our past two trips were with different groups of our grandchildren, and we booked 2BR's under 7 months both times. (Around 6 months out as I recall) Once in April of this year and the other the end of July this year.

Awesome! Thanks for a quick reply!!☺️We are planning a family trip for Feb 2027 and hopefully we can get it at that time!

I'm thinking about buying into BLT on resale. Does anyone here have regrets about owning here?
We Bought BLT as our first add on sight unseen. When we walked in the first time, we were pretty underwhelmed at the lobby and theme. Started to have a twinge of regret. That quickly faded. Love the place. Cannot beat the point chart, location, or the rooms! 3 Bathrooms in a dedicated 2 bedroom. A lifeSaver! Also Did I mention Location! Our original DVC purchase is at BWV. Great Location there as well. Cannot beat being able to walk to the parks. Normally don't go for towers, this is the one exception. It is pretty perfect.

Our next trip will be our first in the refurbed rooms. Really cannot wait to see it! No regrets.

Just booked 2 bed preferred view for September. Never stayed at BLT before but previously had TPV at GF and loved sitting on balcony watching all the boats on the lake. Would appreciate room recommendations for best lake views please Thank you

Touring Plans has a room selector with pictures for paid subscribers. I have used it for BWV and DLH. They also can make requests. I have only had some success in using the request feature. I usually just call in to MS to make my requests.

If you have a standard view 2 Bedroom there’s one of those on the 6th and 7th floor as well. I’ve stayed in one several years back that was right above the bridge. It had pretty great views of the MK fireworks.

You will probably not be able to get the “resort view” category, but for sure you’ll be able to get Theme Park view. Do points spent on the view matter to you?

Have I got a room for you! 😄
We just returned from a week at BLT in a 2BR PV with our two grandsons.

We'll often request areas/views and seldom specific room numbers, however, based on your request and preferences, I would request #7344 or a similar area/view.

It was refurbished, beautiful, clean, room with a view of the Marina, Contemporary, and Contemporary pools.

Good luck!
